Use this recipe as a motivaitonal tool to help put a healthy and affordable eating pattern into pratice, and to identify creative new ideas for healthy meals.
- 2 slices rye bread
- 2 ounces tuna
- 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp chopped celery
- ½ cup shredded lettuce
- Combine tuna, mayonnaise and celery in a small bowl. Add spices to taste.
- Sprinkle shredded lettuce on bread.
- Spread tuna salad mixture onto bread and lettuce.
- Close the sandwich and enjoy!
